Little black book: Lyn Harris
The 38-year-old perfumer, and one of the best “noses” in the business, takes Kathryn Miller around some of her favourite Notting Hill hang-outs
Ottolenghi
Ottolenghi is my favourite deli without a doubt. Their coffee’s the best and the staff are always very friendly. I love what they do. They are very creative. 63 Ledbury Road, +44 (0)20 7727 1121, www.ottolenghi.co.uk
Rosa’s
I often go to this unfussy restaurant. I like to sit at the window table and enjoy a bite of their simple home-cooked food while I watch the world go by. 69 Westbourne Park Road, +44 (0)20 7221 5329
Caramel
Caramel is very good for clothes and toys for children. It is decorated beautifully and there’s always a very friendly atmosphere. I take my son Henri here to get his hair cut. 291 Brompton Road, +44 (0)20 7589 7001
The Cross
The Cross homeware shop (which is across the road from The Cross clothes boutique) is fantastic for knick-knacks. You can always find interesting and unusual gifts. 139 Portland Road, +44 (0)20 7727 6760
Paul Smith
This Notting Hill mansion is Paul Smith’s flagship store. I enjoy browsing the children’s floor for my 18-month-old son. 122 Kensington Park Road, +44 (0)20 7727 3553, www.paulsmith.co.uk
Aimé
This is one of my favourite boutiques. I buy all my clothes here. It’s great for fashion and you get wonderful service. They stock a lot of my favourite brands – I’m a big fan of French labels like APC. 32 Ledbury Road, +44 (0)20 7221 7070, www.aimelondon.com |
